Style & MeasuringTips Too Achieve A Great Fit
Slim Fit - Geared towards the 2.0 sleek, and trendy look of the slim fitted thobe. This thobe runs about two inches smaller than the regular size thobe. This size is perfect for slimmer builds, and those that prefer a more fitted look.
Standard Fit - Is the average regular thobe size, (when comparing different thobe styles, and designers).
Relaxed Fit - These sizes will give you a little more room, and runs about two to three inches larger than the regular size thobe. This size is perfect for athletic builds, or for those that prefer a more relaxed fit.
Length/Height: Measure from the back of your shoulder, down to above the ankle (where you wish for your thobe to stop at). You can also stand against a door frame for assistance. However, for best results, have a friend or family member to help you with this measurement.
Chest: Place the tape under the arms and measure around the fullest part of your chest (about 1 inch below the armpit).
Sleeve: Measure from the shoulder where the arm begins, to your wrist.
Take true body measurements; do not pull on the tape, and always measure using the beginning of the measuring tape. Ask someone to help you take the measurements if you can.
Take measurements over your clothing to ensure your thobe won't be too tight. If you are in-between sizes, you may want to consider ordering the larger size.
It is important to note that, all of the measurements that we provide on our individual product pages, are those of the actual garment, (these vary by style and designers).
Even if you know what size you normally wear, we recommend that you take a quick look at our sizing chart, because clothing manufacturers use different sizing standards.
It’s important to have a nice fitting thobe for ease of movement during salat. Please take this into consideration when calculating your size, remembering to leave yourself some extra room. You can also take the measurements of a garment that fits you well, and use them as a reference.
